企业是宗教事业（转帖） 作者：松下幸之助
在我参观某宗教团体总部的回家途中，我幸运地找到一个好位子，将头靠在窗边，闭幕养神。朦胧中，我想起刚才参观的情形。上千上万的善男信女，涌来参加宗教活动，是在令人叹为观止。同时我联想到自己的事业、正派的经营方式；进而又想起了整个业界的经营现状，不觉对宗教与商业两者的经营与管理问题，深加思索起来。直至回到家中，我还一直在想。甚至当夜深人静时，我更深入地将这两者，作为以下的比较：
这个宗教的宗旨是：导引多数烦恼的人脱离苦海，指导他们安身立命，然后享受人生幸福。我们事业的宗旨则是无中生有，除贫造富的人世工作。古谚云“四百种病，不如一贫”。自古以来，消除贫穷就是人生的神圣事业。因为生产可以帮助人类生活趋向富裕和繁荣，自然也是圣神无比的使命。
人类生活要求精神上的心安，与物质上的丰富，两者互相配合，才有进步、有幸福，二者不能缺其一。如果精神安定，但物质缺乏，维持生命就会发生困难。但是如果物质丰富，却无充实安定的精神生活，那就毫无生存的幸福与价值可言了。因此这两项事业，就像车辆的两轮，缺一不可。
由此看来，事业与宗教的经营，是同等重要，也同样神圣的。我想到此，忽然脑海里闪过一个想法：
我们的事业、我们的经营、应该比宗教事业，更要蓬勃发展，更能扩充延续才是。为什么企业却常有倒闭、裁员等情形呢？那是由于他们经营不善的缘故。那是只顾私利的经营，偏离正义的经营，不自觉事业是神圣的经营，是仅以在商言商的经营，仅站在传统基础上的经营。这些因循姑息的经营方法，就是造成倒闭的原因。对，我也要脱出这个因循的外壳。
而这种想法，深深地在我内心扎了根，落了实。
