(松下幸之助)说服力的重要——无声胜有声
对付逞口舌之辩的妙招之一，是还以机智的行动。一休和尚的故事，是最佳的例子。
有时候只靠语言说服他人，是很难的。有效的说服，必须视情况，运用各种手法，才能达到目标。一休和尚的故事，正是一个很恰当的例子。
一休和尚从小就才智过人，并且经常教导别人。但是有些人却认为他年轻气盛，太过骄傲。一天，有一个人就质问一休说：
[一休和尚，真的有地狱和天堂吗？]
[有。]一休和尚回答说。
[可是，听说不论是地地狱或天堂，在死亡以前谁也不能去，是这样的吗？]
[对。]
[一个人如在生前做了坏事，死后会越过刀山等难关，然后进入地狱。而所谓极乐净土，是在距此[十万亿土]的遥远之境，我想，象我这样瘦弱的身体，别说极乐净土，恐怕连地狱都去不了，你认为如何？]
一休和尚被这样一问，仍泰然地回答说：
[地狱和天堂都不在遥远的地方，而是存在于眼前的这个世界。]
这个人于是说：
[不对。你说地狱、天堂都在眼前，但是我看不到。象你这样年轻的和尚，还是不能把真实情形让我完全明白吧？哈哈......]
被人嘲笑之后，一休和尚很气愤地说：
[你看我年轻，想欺负我吗？]
说着抓起一条绳子，走到那个人背后，把绳子套在他的脖子上，并用力地勒紧。然后问道：
[怎样？你觉得如何？]
被勒住脖子总是不好受，于是哀叫：
[哎唷，痛死了，我明白了，我明白了。这是地狱，对，这就是地狱！]
于是一休把绳子解开后，又问他：
[现在这个情况又是什么？]
那个人舒了一口气，回答说：
[现在就象是在极乐净土的天堂一样，我明白了。原本以为你年轻，一定不能解答这个问题。现在我知道是错了，我郑重道歉。以你的才华，一定能出人投地。]
一休和尚当时觉得即然用言语不能使他了解，只好以行动，来说明意思了。结果，不费唇舌就能使对方深刻地认清其中的道理，并且心服口服。
当然，不同的情形，有不同的表达方式。如何有条理地说服对方，使其信服，这点在经营的观念上，也是十分重要的。
