作广告使顾客认识产品
广告宣传是制造商为顾客制造信心，目的不在推销，而是要让更多我认识产品。
制造商的使命，就是制造出对人类有用的产品，否则就失去生产者存在的价值。但并不是把好的产品做出来就可以了，还要想办法让每个人都认识。
［现在有一种优良产品上市了，如果使用它，将会使你的生活更加美满。］象这样把产品介绍给别人知道，是一种义务，也是广告宣传的意义。所以，做广告宣传，并不是为了推销才做的，而是要让更多的人认识。
在广告宣传上，制造商对经销商的信心，是有帮助的。经销商的使命，是从制造购得商品后，直接或间接地售给顾客。但如果制造商认为贩卖是经销商的事，不必做广告宣传，那就会使经销商感到没有依赖，而失去信心，结果使销售的成绩一落千丈。相反的，如果制造商积极地做广告宣传，担任销售的人会感到安心。同时，努力为商品做促销，就可完成企业的使命。
今天，广告宣传已是非常盛行。因此，它发展的范围十分广大。我们常可看到为促销商品的宣传，或为广告而做的广告。这和广告宣传的意义，是有些出入的。
